Akman Foreign Trade Co. Inc. was founded in 1981 with the aim of exporting fruit juice, concentrated fruit and fruit puree. The company acquired a significant market share on this subject in a short time; furthermore, it carries out turnkey basis fruit juice plants, band press manufacturing, enzyme / essence sales / representations as well. The company made a move also in the construction field in 1997; it started constructing a 32-floor Condominium, a 12,500 m2 shopping mall and an 8,000 m2 hospital complex in Ankara and completed them in 1999.
There are 222 flats, a restaurant-café, night club, outdoor swimming pool, hair dresser, kindergarten, laundry and health club in Akman Condominium, which is the first condominium of Turkey. Other sections of the complex were put into service in late 2000.
